Corporate Finance – Junior associate

After a very strong year and to sustain its growth, Simmons & Simmons Belgium is currently looking for a Junior Associate for its Corporate Finance practice in Brussels.
The firm’s Belgian Corporate Finance team was created four years ago and now consists of 6 specialist lawyers based in Brussels. This leading practice offers a complete corporate finance service and a comprehensive cross-border capability, in conjunction with Simmons & Simmons’ other international offices.
The team handles a wide variety of complex transactional finance, corporate and regulatory advisory work for banks, Fortune Global 500 and FTSE 100 companies, public entities, financial institutions in leveraged acquisition finance deals, global loans, project finance, restructuring, securitisation transactions, structured finance, debt capital markets and regulatory projects.
You have just obtained a Belgian Master in Law or you are a LLM / last year law student with outstanding academic results willing to work at least three days a week.
You have an excellent command of English, French and/or Dutch (written and spoken).
You are a team player with excellent legal capabilities, you have an entrepreneurial spirit and good communication skills.
A tech-savvy lawyer with outstanding IT skills (including PowerPoint and ability to use legal tech and other software).
