The Government’s decisions to avoid proliferation of the corona virus force us to take drastic measures.
From Monday 16 March 2020 until Friday 3 April 2020 there will be no possibility to consult a lawyer in a physical meeting. All physical meetings at the legal aid office will be suspended.
This does not mean that you will not be able to consult a lawyer. We remain at your service.
Physical meetings with lawyers will be replaced by a telephone hotline: the hotline will be open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.00hrs till 12.00hrs by dialing telephone number 02 519 84 94.
A lawyer will be available to answer your questions and, where appropriate, to arrange for the designation of a lawyer to assist you free of charge.
Every afternoon from 12:00hrs till 15:00hrs the ‘telebalie‘ service remains available by telephone. Please dial 02 511 50 45.
The offices at the Regentschapsstraat 63 -1 in 1000 Brussels will be closed to the public during this period but will remain reachable by e-mail at bjb@baliebrussel.be or telephone number 02 519 84 68.
